Are you a psychologist who gets up when the alarm rings because neuropsychiatry is so much fun?

We at the psychiatric clinic in Borlänge are looking for a psychologist who wants to work mostly with neuropsychiatric assessments. You are welcome to be licensed, but we are primarily looking for the right person for our team, and if the right person has not yet obtained their license, we can also arrange a PTP position. Our clinic is a regular psychiatric outpatient clinic in a medium-sized, not-so-beautiful town. We see all types of psychiatric patients who need specialist psychiatric care. Currently, 8 psychologists work here. We have worked together for quite a few years, and although we are different in both personalities and specializations, we enjoy each other's company. Some came here as PTP psychologists. One came with the idea of staying for a year but is now in their 8th year here because it is a good workplace. Others came with licenses and previous work experience that are valuable to us as well. We have had the opportunity to specialize, and we get to do many of the tasks we enjoy. If you want to switch tasks, there is always something else that also needs to be done. The work never runs out.

Your job responsibilities with us will include everything involved in the assessment and psychological treatment of patients with neuropsychiatric conditions. We base our work on the recommendations in the National Board of Health and Welfare's care and intervention program for ADHD, and we are eagerly awaiting the VIP for autism. We conduct assessments in cohesive assessment processes and work in teams. As we are a large clinic with about 50 employees, there are demands for collaboration skills and flexibility. At the same time, the opposite is required, a good ability to stand by your assessments and your professional perspective.

Requirements:

• Licensed psychologist or a psychology degree for a PTP position

Meritorious:

We need you who enjoy working on-site. Remote digital work is good and possible, but we would like to meet you in the team and in the break room. It is also good if you have certain standout skills; circumstances in the public sector change both quickly and slowly, but if it gets tough, we support each other!
