Coop Älvängen is a well-established and appreciated store with a good assortment and a clear ecological profile. Our opening hours are 6 AM to 11 PM every day of the week to provide good accessibility for our customers. The store is currently operated by 34 permanent employees plus a number of employees with fixed-term contracts.

As a store salesperson, you are the face of the store and provide our customers with the best service in a professional manner while spreading joy and energy. To succeed in the role of a salesperson with us, we see that you are a great team player, ambitious, thrive in a fast-paced work environment, and feel comfortable in stressful situations.

Your position will primarily involve work in our manual Fish & Delicacy department where you will handle the sale of fish and delicacies to our customers and ensure that we have a fresh and inviting department. In addition, you will also work in our store kitchen as the store is heavily investing in its popular catering business.

The position is a permanent employment distributed over 30 hours/week where we wish for you to start as soon as possible, but the start date will be set by agreement. Working hours vary but are scheduled for both day and evening shifts as well as weekends. Recruitment is ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.

• Previous experience in grocery retail is an advantage
• Swedish spoken and written is a requirement
• Completed high school education is a requirement
• Previous experience working with fish and/or delicacies is highly meritorious
• Previous training and experience working in a store kitchen is highly meritorious
