Skåneägg Produktion AB is looking for an engaged person who wants to work extra on weekends with animal care in a meaningful and physically active environment. You will work in an important and appreciated role where the well-being of the animals is always in focus, and your efforts make a difference every day.

Initially, the position is scheduled for weekends, but for the right person, there are good opportunities to transition to a full-time position in the future.

Your responsibilities will include:

· Responsibility for the daily supervision and care of the farm's laying hens, with a particular focus on ensuring the animals' well-being as the highest priority.

· Egg packing and handling of fresh eggs

· Cleaning and manure removal to keep the animal stalls clean and pleasant

· Simple repairs and maintenance of the farm's buildings and equipment

· You will also work somewhat independently, which means you should be comfortable making your own decisions and planning your workday

Your profile

· We are looking for someone who:

· Has an interest in animals and preferably previous experience in agriculture or animal care (meritorious, but not required)

· Is responsible, meticulous, and not afraid of hard work

· Enjoys practical work and has good physical fitness

· Speaks Swedish or English

Requirements

· Can get to the workplace in the early morning hours

· Has a B driver's license and access to a car

· Can work weekends

Skåneägg Produktion AB works with laying hen flocks and egg production. The business is characterized by a daily focus on quality and animal welfare. Today, we have ten dedicated employees, and as the company grows, we see a need to strengthen the organization with an animal caretaker.
