Operations and Maintenance Technician at Skåneägg Produktion AB

Skåneägg Produktion AB is now seeking an engaged and solution-oriented operations and maintenance technician who wants to help ensure stable, safe, and efficient production. In this role, you will have a central function in the organization where you work with operations, preventive and corrective maintenance, as well as technical development of our properties, technical systems, and barn environments.

The position is varied and practical with a high degree of responsibility. In addition to ongoing operations and maintenance work, you will play an important role in our extensive project work planned and implemented during 2026 and 2027. We are facing several larger development and investment projects, such as the construction of manure houses, replacement of barn equipment, and replacement and upgrading of silos. In these projects, you will contribute with technical expertise, participate in planning and execution, and coordinate work together with internal functions and external suppliers and contractors.

Your Role

· Perform property and facility maintenance, including snow removal, lawn mowing, and general exterior maintenance.

· Ensure high quality and functionality in our properties and follow biosafety procedures.

· Maintain and service barn equipment, such as feed screws, ventilation systems, and lighting.

· Provide technical support to colleagues regarding machinery and equipment.

· Be responsible for order and structure in the warehouse with spare parts, tools, and consumables.

· Participate in daily operations related to animal care and egg collection.

· Schedule and follow up on manure collection and maintain all manure systems.

· The role also involves responsibility for planning, monitoring, and documenting maintenance efforts, as well as participating in improvement work and technical development of the facilities. There are good opportunities for development in both technology, operations, and project management.

We are looking for someone who

· Has a strong technical interest and is practically oriented.

· Works in a structured manner, takes responsibility, and sees solutions rather than problems.

· Enjoys both independent work and teamwork.

· Has experience in maintenance work within agriculture, industry, or property (preferable but not required).

· Has experience operating wheel loaders/tractors (preferable but not required).

· Has an understanding of, or a desire to learn more about, animal husbandry and biosafety.

· A valid B driver's license is required.

· We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Since our workplaces are spread out within about an hour's drive, a B driver's license is required for the position.

About Us

Skåneägg Produktion AB works with laying hen flocks and egg production. The business is characterized by a daily focus on quality and animal welfare. Today, we have ten dedicated employees, and as the company grows, we see a need to strengthen the organization with an operations and maintenance technician, with the aim of continuing to develop and manage our facilities outside Mörarp and Örkelljunga.
