Huseby Bruk is a well-known place where history, nature, and public activities meet. We are now looking for an operations manager who will have clear overall responsibility for the daily operations of all existing activities in the area – including visitor events, arrangements, and other public activities.

As the operations manager at Huseby Bruk, you are responsible for ensuring that daily operations run efficiently, professionally, and profitably. The role is clearly operational and requires good experience in leading visitor activities with many contact points, varying seasons, and high demands for service and hospitality.

You have overall responsibility for operations, ongoing finances, and personnel, ensuring that the business is conducted within given frameworks, goals, and directions. You work closely with the CEO but with a clear mandate to lead the operations daily.

This is a role for you who are confident in managing complex operations, making decisions, and creating structure in a public business with many moving parts.

In the role of operations manager, you are responsible for:

• Ensuring that events, restaurant, and other public activities are carried out as planned
• Operational coordination between different parts of the business
• A professional, safe, and welcoming hospitality for visitors, partners, and suppliers
• Ongoing financial monitoring, cost control, and profitability management
• Personnel responsibility including leadership, scheduling, work environment, and staffing
• Ensuring that the business complies with applicable regulations, agreements, and internal guidelines

We are looking for someone with a solid background in the tourism industry and who is accustomed to taking overall responsibility for operations in public business. You are a clear, present, and unpretentious leader who thrives in an operational role and has a good understanding of finance and business acumen.

You are structured, solution-oriented, and comfortable working closely with the business – both as a leader and as practical support when needed.

We see that you:

• Have experience leading operations in the tourism industry, such as tourist destinations, events, restaurants, or similar
• Have had personnel and budget responsibility
• Have good knowledge of finance, budgeting, and profitability management
• Have experience planning and executing larger events or public arrangements
• Work commercially and thrive with clear responsibilities
• Have post-secondary education or equivalent experience deemed relevant by the employer
• Speak and write fluent Swedish and English (German is a plus)

Experience working in a cultural-historical environment, museum, or similar activities is an advantage.
