Procurement Officer at the Swedish Schools Inspectorate

The Swedish Schools Inspectorate is now looking for a new colleague to join a group that works with procurement, e-commerce, and purchasing.

You will be responsible for the authority's e-commerce system, which involves ensuring that there are updated ordering paths in the system while purchases are made correctly and cost-effectively. You will also independently conduct procurements together with the business's purchasers. Together with your colleagues in the unit, you will participate in developing the purchasing operations. The role requires you to work independently and enjoy collaborating with others as part of a team.

The position is located within the unit for finance and operational management, which consists of ten employees, three of whom work with procurement and purchasing. Your immediate supervisor is the CFO. The unit's areas of responsibility include, in addition to procurement, financial management, accounting, and operational follow-up. The unit is part of the department for operational support and legal affairs, located in Stockholm.

Job Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the ongoing management of orders and contracts in the e-commerce system. You will also independently conduct procurements on behalf of the business and manage the entire process from purchase request, call-off to final registration of the case. After the purchase is completed, you will also provide support to the contract owner in contract interpretation and contract management.

Together with your colleagues, you will be involved in developing the internal processes related to purchasing, call-offs, and procurement. You will distribute procurements and call-offs among yourselves and work so that you can cover for each other when needed.

Qualifications

  • Relevant academic education or other post-secondary education (YH or equivalent).
  • At least three years of work experience as a procurement officer.
  • Good knowledge of the Public Procurement Act, LOU, and its application.
  • Experience in independently conducting procurements within the public sector.
  • Strong ability to express yourself fluently in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
  • Good experience working in procurement systems, such as e-avrop.
  • Good experience working in e-commerce systems.

Meritorious

  • Conducted and been responsible for complex procurements in the service and IT areas.
  • Good experience with Visma Proceedo.

You work systematically and complete your tasks with good quality. You have the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with others. The Position
