JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a substitute teacher for our school. The main task is to work as a teacher substitute in grades 4-9, but the role involves more than classroom teaching. Depending on the needs of the organization, you may also work as a resource in the classroom, supervise breaks, or substitute in after-school care or in lower grades. Flexibility is therefore crucial in this role.

As a substitute teacher, you need to quickly adapt and take on various tasks during a school day. This may involve leading lessons according to planning, supporting individual students or groups, creating safety during breaks, or working in after-school care. You are a visible adult who contributes to structure, safety, and a conducive learning environment throughout the school.

QUALIFICATIONS

As a substitute teacher at the school, you need to be comfortable interacting with students and have the ability to take responsibility for a group. You are flexible and easily adapt to different tasks during the school day, while also collaborating well and taking instructions from regular staff. A calm and professional demeanor is important, as well as good knowledge of Swedish. Previous experience working in schools or after-school programs is considered an advantage. This role is suitable for you if you appreciate variety, can quickly adapt to new situations, and want to be a stable adult in the school's everyday life.

The municipality applies individual salary setting. Start date according to agreement.
