About the Hotel

Scandic Visby is located with the best starting point to explore the medieval town or to venture out into the countryside by car. A lovely hotel with a resort feel, where the rooms are divided into different buildings. Our restaurant is open year-round where we serve breakfast in the morning and dinner in the evening, with menus that are adapted according to the season. During the summer, we open our lovely outdoor terrace with a pool, and for those who want to swim year-round, we offer a warm hot tub under the open sky.

What does the role of Breakfast Host/Hostess entail?

Your primary role is to work in operations, ensuring that our breakfast guests receive service, a pleasant welcome, and a fantastic breakfast experience! The role includes simple cooking, preparation, setting up, and maintaining order in the kitchen and common areas. You ensure that dishwashing, cleanliness, and self-control run smoothly and in accordance with food policies, concepts, and manuals.

Who are you?

To fit into the role, we would like you to have experience in similar work as well as experience in concept-driven operations. However, the most important thing is your personal qualities and attitude. To fit into the role, you need to be a good team player who takes great responsibility for your tasks and the overall result. It is also important that you can convey good hospitality to the hotel’s guests. It is an advantage if you have some form of Hotel and Restaurant education.

Information about the position:

We are looking for several positions for the season that vary between 15-30 hours/week. This could suit someone who wants to work fewer hours and primarily in the mornings. We are open every day, so you should be able to work both weekdays and weekends.
