Myrorna's supply chain ensures that stores and the online shop are supplied with high-quality and fashionable items through sorting and valuing incoming donations. In this role, you will work operationally with your colleagues to handle incoming donations and ensure that our sales channels are supplied with high-quality and sellable goods. You will sort, evaluate, and price items and prepare them for delivery.
As an operations manager, you will also:
- Be responsible at an operational level for organizing the workflow within your area of responsibility in the best way and ensuring that the right efforts are made to achieve set KPIs/daily goals.
- Continuously take and suggest actions in case of deviations.
- Collaborate closely with other operations managers for shared objectives.
- Be responsible for conducting the introduction of new employees.
Are you the one we are looking for?
To thrive in this role, you should have an interest in the assortment and enjoy being responsible at an operational level for organizing the workflow in the unit in the best way. You also ensure that the right efforts are made to achieve set KPIs/daily goals throughout the day and work in production in the areas where it is needed. Good digital competence and experience in evaluating second-hand items are required.
As a person, you are efficient, enjoy a fast-paced work environment, and have the ability to work towards the whole based on set goals. You put the team before yourself and believe in people's ability to develop and collaborate. You need to have good physical condition as the work sometimes involves lifting. You have the ability to work both independently and collaboratively, and with your positive attitude, there is no problem that cannot be solved. You are attentive, flexible, and take the initiative for improvements while continuously working on preventive and corrective actions in case of deviations.
You must have a good command of the Swedish language as you will be instructing individuals who are doing work practice in the unit and be responsible for conducting the introduction of new employees according to the established introduction plan.
We offer
Myrorna offers you a developing and stimulating job where no day is the same. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to Myrorna's commitment to positive social change with a focus on reuse, work training for people who are outside the labor market, and contribute to the Salvation Army's social work. Myrorna has a collective agreement, and you will be offered wellness benefits and discounted premiums on group insurance.
The unit as a whole consists of a staff group of nearly 30 employees and a number of interns engaged in various forms of labor market policy measures.
We are looking for an operations manager for the Interior Department. The position is a permanent employment, with a probationary period applied. We request a background check before the employment decision according to current guidelines.
Information about the position is provided by the head of the Interior Department, Victoria Wallenberg.
Welcome with your application!
Please note that we only accept applications through our recruitment system Recruto.
Myrorna is Sweden's most well-known second-hand store chain, with stores all over the country. We are the largest when it comes to collecting clothes and items that can be reused. The business operates like any other retail chain, with a budget, sales requirements, and financial surplus. Yet we differ from others because our financial surplus from sales goes to the Salvation Army's social work in Sweden. Our mission also includes contributing to sustainable social change by encouraging more Swedes to reuse. Additionally, we aim to help more people who are far from the labor market to come closer through work practice with us. These three missions are central to everything we do – from how we collect to how we sell.
We are a significant social actor working for a sustainable world for 125 years.
