Assistant Nurse to the Health Stations in Southern Lapland

The health stations are part of the southern Lapland local healthcare area, which is a model area in the transition to close care. With effective collaboration and a focus on the citizen, we drive important change initiatives within the region and together with the municipality. Clinical assessment at a distance and digital healthcare meetings are developing rapidly and are an important part of ensuring good, close, and accessible care in this area. Therefore, it is no coincidence that we are at the forefront in this field. The health station model, which is an important starting point for close care, shapes both attitudes and working methods in the daily operations of the organization.

Health stations in Storuman, Sorsele, and Tärnaby are part of the same base unit and are located in southern Lapland, 130 kilometers apart, with Sorsele and Storuman being 70 kilometers apart. The nearest hospital is in Lycksele, where the county's ambulance helicopter is stationed.

Our health stations function as well-equipped mini-hospitals with access to emergency care beds, X-ray, ambulance services, and laboratory. Our telemedicine use is well developed. Here, there are occupational therapists, midwives, physiotherapists, social workers, doctors, psychologists, medical secretaries, nurses, and assistant nurses. We provide emergency care as well as regular work at the health center and have a well-developed collaboration between all our professional groups and with the municipalities.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As an assistant nurse with us, you contribute to taking good care of others and helping people feel better. You work in a team with staff with different responsibilities and tasks but who together work for and with the patient. The work is performed both in our reception and in our emergency care department and offers great variation in terms of content and pace. Common tasks include nursing work, documenting patients' conditions and actions taken, as well as conducting various tests and checks.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a trained assistant nurse.

You are patient-focused, have social skills, are independent and very flexible in your work, and can handle periods of high workload. You plan your work in collaboration with colleagues and other staff members. You are positive about change initiatives and actively contribute to a good work environment.
