About the Position

As a site manager at NCC, you will be responsible for the entire project's execution from contract to handover, focusing on quality, time, work environment, and economy. The projects vary in size and complexity, and many of them are conducted in the partnering collaboration model.

In the role of site manager, you will greatly benefit from your leadership skills as your task is to create clarity and involvement, as well as to engage and motivate the team in the project. You have personnel responsibility for a group of skilled workers, which includes conducting employee conversations. Besides our customers, our work environment is the most important thing we have! You are responsible for ensuring order and tidiness at your workplace, which makes it possible to meet the high standards that NCC sets for a safe work environment. This also contributes to better quality in the project we hand over to the customer. We want to be a learning organization and have recurring site manager meetings where you can exchange experiences with your colleagues. You also have all the opportunities to increase your knowledge through our internal training programs.

As a site manager with us, you have many points of contact, and it is of utmost importance that you are motivated to create good dialogue and collaboration both within the team and our department, as well as externally with our customers and subcontractors.

To succeed in the role of Site Manager with us, we believe that you have previous experience in managing larger construction projects, and we view positively that you have a good understanding of cost management and experience from collaborative projects. You have a degree as a construction engineer or have built up equivalent competence through practical industry experience.

In this role, we value your ability to lead and inspire a larger project organization. Therefore, we believe that you are confident in the leadership role and driven to motivate and create job satisfaction so that the team can achieve and exceed goals together. As a person, you are responsible and have a good ability to structure and organize your own and others' work. Furthermore, you have strong communication skills and are proficient in both Swedish and English, spoken and written.

The position is a permanent employment with a start date according to agreement. You will be based in one of our projects in the Uppsala/Uppland area. The position requires a valid driver's license (B).

This position will undergo background checks in accordance with NCC's safety culture.
