The position of Project Manager
As a Project Manager, you have overall responsibility for one or more projects. You lead the projects from start to finish, and an important part of the role is to participate in the early stages of the projects. Based on defined time, quality, and cost frameworks, you ensure that customer expectations are met. You drive the planning and production process together with the project team and ensure that the work is carried out in line with NCC's values – honesty, trust, respect.
You coach and motivate your employees, clarify expectations, and provide continuous feedback. You have many points of contact and collaborate both internally and externally, focusing on close customer dialogue and long-term relationships. Collaborating with other employees in the projects is a key issue for our successful operations, and it is of utmost importance that you are passionate about creating close cooperation with the department's business and specialist organization.
Within our department, we have several exciting projects underway in the near future in our geography Uppsala/Uppland. We are driven by working in collaboration, combining sustainability, innovation, and quality in everything we do to create the sustainable communities of the future together with our customers. You report to the Production Manager and are part of the production management for the department.
About the Building Uppsala, Gävle / Dala department
We work with new construction and renovation of housing, hospitals, industrial buildings, and community-critical facilities in Uppsala, Uppland. Our projects are often conducted as collaborative contracts in close dialogue with professional clients. We have a strong focus on sustainability, innovation, and energy-efficient solutions. With us, you will become part of an engaged team that collaborates to develop and deliver projects that make a difference.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with leadership experience and project management skills. You have good experience in the construction industry and have worked in a similar role for several years and want to take the next step in your development. It is advantageous if you have a post-secondary education in construction technology. We see that you have good coordination skills and lead and recognize your employees' skills with the aim of creating an effective and well-functioning team. You thrive in close collaboration with your colleagues and actively work to build a community within the group, but you also have the ability to create a driving focus and follow up on common goals.
As a person, you are business-minded, positive, and structured. You can identify and analyze risks but are primarily motivated by finding solutions to the challenges you face. Ensuring good deliveries is important to you, and you seek development opportunities in working methods and approaches to achieve better solutions. Great emphasis will be placed on your personal qualities and your ability to collaborate and develop employees.

Additional information
The position is a permanent employment starting by agreement. You will be based at our office in Uppsala. The position requires a B driver's license.
This position will be background-checked in accordance with NCC's safety culture.
