About the Position

In the role of Transport, Trade & Logistics Specialist, you will be part of the client's logistics and trade organization. The workplace is flexible with regular presence at the office in Nyköping as well as at the warehouse in Norrköping, to promote collaboration and team spirit.

The role has a broad responsibility within both transport logistics and trade compliance, where you will closely collaborate with internal functions as well as external partners such as freight forwarders and customs agents.

Your Main Responsibilities

Transport & Logistics:

• Support the selection and follow-up of freight forwarders and customs agents, ensuring efficient and documented loading and unloading processes.
• Monitor transportation costs, verify invoices, and prepare reports related to transport performance, KPIs, and costs.
• Manage deviations, service quality issues, complaints, and operational challenges related to transport and import/export flows.

Trade Compliance & Customs:

• Ensure compliance with export control and customs regulations and provide advice on customs and trade-related issues.
• Be responsible for correct documentation, record-keeping, and conducting internal controls and audits.
• Support improvements of systems and processes, maintain master data, and participate in import and export transactions.
• Contribute to increased knowledge within the organization by communicating about laws, customs duties, fees, licenses, and regulations.

Who Are You?

We are looking for someone who has:

• A good understanding of transport logistics and customs procedures.
• Experience in trade compliance, preferably with work in SAP GTS or similar systems.
• A structured and meticulous work approach with good problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with both internal and external parties.
• Fluent knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

It is an advantage if you have experience from an international environment or manufacturing industry.
