JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a chef who is passionate about food and cooking. As a pool chef, you will work in kitchens in preschools, schools, and care facilities. Working as a pool chef means that you will be booked at workplaces around the municipality at short notice, for which you will receive an additional salary supplement. You will belong to a home kitchen from which you will be based, and then booked to kitchens that need staff. The work involves evening and weekend shifts.

The tasks you will perform vary depending on which kitchen you go to. We have three different types of kitchens: production kitchens, reception kitchens, and serving kitchens.

• In production kitchens, you will prepare and serve delicious and nutritious food to our guests, as well as prepare breakfast and snacks where applicable. This may also include packing food. The work includes washing dishes and cleaning the kitchen, dining room, and in some units, other facilities.
• In our reception kitchens, the main component arrives ready at the kitchen, and you will prepare the accompaniments.
• In our serving kitchens, the entire meal arrives ready, and in these kitchens, work with children's groups may be included.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are primarily looking for someone with a chef's education and secondarily someone with experience working in large kitchens or other culinary training.

We want you to have a strong interest in cooking, a pleasant demeanor, and provide good service. It is important to have the ability to collaborate within the workgroup as well as with our customers and guests. You should have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form, as well as computer skills.

The job requires great flexibility and the ability to work independently. Therefore, you must be confident in yourself and your tasks and be able to adapt to different conditions.

A driver's license and access to a car are required.

The position is approximately 6 months.
