Production Engineer for an Exciting Role at Wabtec Faiveley Nordic AB in Landskrona

As a Production Engineer, you will work with preparation and continuous development of machining processes. You will be part of a team of 5 production engineers, 2 workshop technicians, and 2 maintenance mechanics who together support and provide production with the right conditions to deliver. You will also collaborate with other support functions in the organization to ensure that realization is possible, both for new constructions and changes to the products.

You will also develop working methods and capabilities within the area and put your stamp on the organization's processes. You will be part of an exciting company that contributes to delivering green transport alternatives!

Your Responsibilities:

• Production preparation for machining our brake products, in the form of CAM preparation, development of tools and fixtures, instructions, training, and handover to production
• Development and design work of new and existing fixtures as well as production and test equipment
• Analyze and improve production flow and drive improvement work in production
• Production technical support in deviation and change management.

Your Profile:

You have several years of experience in production technology and a relevant educational background in the field. You may have an engineering degree or equivalent competence obtained through work experience. Furthermore, you have knowledge of mechanical design and qualified experience in cutting machining and CAM preparation, as well as experience in production improvements. The role requires very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

You are a structured person who is used to working with production technology and design, both independently and in teams. You are not afraid to be in production and create changes in your environment. An analytical mindset and the ability to build relationships in the organization you are in are important qualities. You appreciate a position with many points of contact where collaboration, responsiveness, and quality awareness are key words.

About the Position:

The position is a permanent full-time employment with placement in Landskrona. Start date as soon as possible by agreement.
