In the role of care assistant with us at Forenede Care, you will provide good care, service, and support to our residents. With us, you make a difference every day while having fun at work. Liljeforstorg 4 is a special accommodation focused on dementia, nursing, and social psychiatry, with 70 places. We have been Silvia certified since 2015. Liljeforstorg nursing home is located in the Gränby/Salabacke district near central Uppsala. You can easily reach us by bus or bike. We have been operating independently since 2012 and work on behalf of Uppsala Municipality.

In the position of care assistant, you will work with care and support based on the residents' wishes, in accordance with assistance decisions, and always with a strong focus on quality. You will assist with personal hygiene, meal preparation and serving, respond to alarms, and provide social interaction. Social interaction is an important part of our work to ensure that all our residents can live life to the fullest. This can involve everything from chatting, playing games, going on outings, cycling, or finding fun activities to do together. You will also work with delegated tasks from licensed staff in the form of medication management and training.

Description of the positions

We are currently looking for a colleague with an 85% employment rate. The position is a permanent employment, and we apply a probationary period of 6 months. Scheduled working hours day/evening/weekend. Start date according to agreement.

To be considered for the position, you need:

• A certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare as a care assistant

• Good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing

We also see it as an advantage if you have specialized training in dementia and previous experience in elderly care and dementia care.

To thrive in the position, you are engaged and care about your fellow human beings while being good at building good relationships and being service-oriented. We work in teams as well as independently, so it is important that you are comfortable in that environment.

Before we offer employment, you will need to present an unopened extract from the police criminal record. We also require a valid Swedish work permit, such as a passport or approved work permit from the Migration Agency.
