Your tasks
We are now looking for new colleagues for the night shift at Valla Park nursing home. As a nursing assistant at night, you will be responsible together with a colleague for one of the two floors in the building. The night staff rotates, which means you will work in both somatic and dementia care. This contributes to a varied job and the opportunity for experience exchange between colleagues.

Your shift starts with a report from the evening staff and reading journal documentation in Treserva. During the night, you have scheduled care moments, perform supervision, and respond to alarms. You are also responsible for household tasks such as washing, cleaning, and setting the table for breakfast. You will end your shift by documenting in Treserva and giving an oral report to the day staff.

In your work, you will base your actions on IBIC (individual needs in focus) and a salutogenic approach where you focus on the healthy and strengthen the individual's own abilities. You will also apply low-arousal responses to handle various situations calmly and respectfully.

The working hours are scheduled for awake night shifts.

Your workplace
Valla Park is a nursing home located in a scenic area near Old Linköping. Here, there are 50 places distributed across three somatic departments and three dementia departments. The work within somatic and dementia care at Valla Park is varied and meaningful. You will become an important part of our dedicated, multi-professional team and contribute to creating a meaningful stay for our care recipients.

We use BEATA, an individualized working method with digital supervision and digital alarms, which increases the privacy of the residents and reduces the need for physical supervision.

Who you are
We are looking for someone with an approved care and social services education and experience in working within care, support, and assistance. If you have experience and knowledge of working with individuals in dementia and/or somatic care, we consider it an advantage. Knowledge of or experience with the IBIC method, low-arousal responses, and a salutogenic approach is also seen as advantageous.

As the work involves contact with users and documentation, you need to communicate both orally and in writing in Swedish. It is an advantage if you have experience with documentation in journal systems. You are also expected to be able to use digital tools in your work.

You work well with others and are attentive to people's different needs. You have the ability to understand someone else's perspective without taking over their feelings. Furthermore, you are calm, stable, and controlled in stressful situations. You are also flexible and can easily adapt to changing circumstances.

To ensure high quality in our operations, a language test is included in the recruitment process. Upon hiring, you will also need to provide an extract from the criminal record from the Police.
