Attendo Åbovägen is a special accommodation located in Högstorp. We have a total of 44 places divided into four departments, three departments have a somatic focus and one department has a dementia focus. We at Attendo Åbovägen work based on the concept of culture and pleasure, which means we work a lot with activities.

Two of our colleagues have chosen to embark on new adventures through studies, and therefore we are now looking for two dedicated employees who want to be part of our team. With us, you will work in a safe and developing environment where we together create good and person-centered care. One position is in our dementia department and the other in a somatic department. In your personal letter, you are welcome to tell us if you have a particular interest in any department.

We are looking for someone who is driven by working with people and making a real difference for customers every day. You have the ability to empower and support customers in all aspects of daily life.

As a person, you are meticulous and engaged with customers and their relatives. You find it easy to collaborate, have a pedagogical approach, and contribute to a good and pleasant atmosphere in our workplace.

Job Description

The positions are permanent with a 6-month probationary period. Both positions are part-time.

As a nursing assistant, your main task is to work with the care of our customers, with some light cleaning and cooking involved. You should be able to work in a team but also independently. We work in teams with nursing assistants, nurses, rehabilitation staff, group leaders, and operational managers.

We have new customers who need care and are now expanding our friendly team with more nursing assistants. It is an advantage if you have experience in care work in elderly care and delegation.

We are looking for someone with nursing assistant education and experience in care work.

Qualifications

• Nursing assistant education of at least 1350 points.

• Professional certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare or a certificate from current/former employer regarding permanent employment as a nursing assistant.

• Good knowledge of the Swedish language (spoken and written)

• Good computer skills/computer familiarity

You enjoy providing good service, creating great relationships, and want to enhance the quality of life for our customers. You are an independent, humble, and responsible person who is passionate about caring for the elderly and can see the individual's needs. Having a leadership role is stimulating, and you enjoy mentoring your colleagues in health and medical care issues.
