Within the Department of Health and Care, we have full-time as the norm. This means that all permanent employees essentially have a full-time position. More information about what this entails for this position will be provided during a possible interview. Exceptions to the full-time norm are personal assistants.

Nyby Gränby Home Care is an operation with about 35 employees. Our base is located at Leopoldsgatan in Nyby service house where we share premises with Gamla Uppsala Löten home care and the night patrol. There are good opportunities for collaboration between units, and we strive to offer equivalent care for our users. The unit is in a development phase with changes underway to improve the operation from both a staff and user perspective. You who start working here will have the opportunity for high participation in shaping and influencing the operations.
Your tasks
As a planner in home care, you are a key person in the operation, where the main focus is to ensure that our users receive the right services at the right time. You will have contact with nurses, rehabilitation staff, case managers, relatives, and others. The workday can change quickly due to various unpredictable events where you need to reschedule and manage staffing. The position includes making home visits. When working as a planner, you also need to have a good understanding that home care is complex. To thrive in the role, you need to enjoy interacting with many people in different types of situations.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has at least a high school diploma and experience working administratively in the Office suite. To succeed in the role, you need to have experience working in home care. We consider it an advantage if you have knowledge of the Lifecare system and understand the importance of time frames. It is also advantageous if you have work experience as a planner in home care. The job requires that you have good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form.
As a person, you are calm, stable, and controlled in stressful situations. You work well with others, listening, communicating, and resolving conflicts constructively. Furthermore, you have the interest, willingness, and ability to help others and strive to deliver solutions. You are also accommodating in your interactions with others. Last but not least, you plan, organize, and prioritize your work effectively.
