The Role of Care Assistant with Us

In Kungsbacka, we want everyone to live life to the fullest, and for us in home care and nursing homes, this means providing care and support to each care recipient based on approved decisions and individual needs, with attentiveness and great commitment. This means we have a strong focus on those we are here for while working together and staying close to each other.

As a home care employee, you will work according to a schedule both during the day, evening, and weekends. Our work field allows us to bike, walk, and drive to our clients, creating conditions for a varied environment. To perform your work, you will have access to a company car and/or bicycle, your own work phone, and work clothes.

Your Profile

As a person, you are accommodating in your approach and attentive to your surroundings. You create new contacts as well as maintain your current work relationships. You take responsibility and drive your work forward, delivering results and prioritizing your work effectively. You see opportunities in changes, take your own initiatives, and come up with new approaches to work-related issues. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

We are looking for someone who:

• is a trained or studying care assistant
• expresses themselves well in Swedish, both spoken and written, as this is required in daily work
• holds a B driver's license

Our Offer and Additional Information

We offer a permanent position with placement according to agreement.

The position is full-time or according to agreement. Within the Department of Health & Care, all employees in home care and nursing homes are employed at a 100% employment rate, but employees have the opportunity to reduce their desired employment rate based on the needs of the operation. The schedule includes shifts during the day, evening, and every other weekend.

Background checks may be conducted before employment.

As of July 1, 2023, care assistant is a protected professional title. When employed as a care assistant, you will therefore need to present proof from the National Board of Health and Welfare to use the title care assistant.
