About the position

We are now looking for one or a couple of service-oriented receptionists who want to work extra as needed in our hotel reception. During the summer, there is an opportunity for a personal schedule during the regular staff's vacation.

The role suits you who enjoy variety, responsibility, and meeting people – and who want to be an important part of the guests' overall experience.

As a receptionist, you are the hotel's face to the outside world and the first contact our guests meet. The work involves both independent responsibility and collaboration with colleagues at a varied pace but with a good atmosphere. You work alone during your shift but with colleagues in other departments available, except at night when solo work occurs.

Responsibilities

• Check-in and check-out of guests
• Welcoming guests in a professional, warm, and solution-oriented manner
• Managing bookings, payments, and administration
• Handling phone and email inquiries
• Ensuring order, service, and safety in the reception
• Bar service during the bar's opening hours
• During night shifts: simpler night routines and responsibility for the hotel

We are looking for someone who

• Has work experience
• Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written
• Is service-oriented, responsible, and stress-resistant
• Has good social skills and a professional demeanor
• Can work flexible hours: day, evening, and night

Experience in reception or hotel work is an advantage but not a requirement. Other languages are also an advantage.

You must be at least 20 years old to apply for this position as you will be responsible for serving during evening and night shifts. Read more in Chapter 8, Section 18 of the Alcohol Act regarding designated serving responsible persons.
