Assistant Nurse for Ward 22
We are now looking for an assistant nurse for Ward 22, which is responsible for caring for patients with acute psychoses.
Here we work in a team with nurses, assistant nurses, social workers, occupational therapists, and doctors. The care is conducted in collaboration with our outpatient clinic in Alvik. S:t Görans hospital area is centrally located in Kungsholmen, close to the city's pulse and with good transportation options. Ward 22 belongs to the psychosis section and has 16 care places. We are committed to conveying a humanistic value base and creating a dignified care environment for our patients. The work on the ward is carried out in two care teams where nurses and assistant nurses work closely with the patients.
Job Responsibilities
The work involves psychiatric nursing and care. You support your colleagues in daily tasks and are involved in planning and execution concerning the patients in your care group.
Conditions
Day/evening/weekend on a 10-week schedule.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who is a trained assistant nurse, with a focus on psychiatric care, who has experience and interest in psychiatric care and the patient group. You have good collaboration skills and a humble attitude. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

We are now entering a new era! Stockholm County's Healthcare Area (SLSO) is starting up Psychosis Care Stockholm – a newly formed organization that gathers all outpatient clinics and inpatient care departments for patients with psychotic disorders within SLSO into a common operation.
The position will be filled on the condition that it does not need to be used for internal relocation, according to current regulations.
In patient-related work within Stockholm County's Healthcare Area:
- background checks will be applied before the hiring decision according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for background checks during employment.
- employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment health examination, according to current directives, which is done through occupational health services before employment.
- in addition to Swedish professional certification, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required. The same requirements apply to non-licensed staff with patient contact.
