JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As an Operational Buyer, you will be part of a team and report to the Head of Operational Purchasing. You will be involved in the entire business chain, from checking and creating purchase orders to paying invoices to our suppliers. Together, we work to create an efficient material flow throughout the business.

Your main responsibilities as an Operational Buyer are:

• Drive the daily operational purchasing process
• Receive purchase requests from the business and verify data on the purchase request
• Create purchase orders and manage order confirmations from suppliers
• Implement new suppliers in the purchasing system
• Ensure that goods reception is done according to routine
• Check freight costs on invoices
• Assist in training our employees in the organization and support in setting up new items
• Support in complaints and act as a contact person for suppliers and the business in the operational purchasing process

The position is based in Nässjö.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who wants to work with economic logistics in systems. You have a logistics or economics education and relevant work experience in logistics and purchasing. For this position, we expect you to be meticulous, communicative, and have the drive to deliver what we promise to our customers. Great importance is placed on your sense of responsibility and service, as well as your ability to communicate with customers and suppliers. You have a logistical mindset and understand how a business system works. Experience with the SAP business system is an advantage.
