JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for someone who wants to and can work with new construction, operation, and maintenance of the municipality's facilities. The tasks include, among other things, new construction and maintenance of, for example, playgrounds, green areas, and various tasks within the street area.

You will also be involved in other tasks within the unit. The position will be adapted to the organization's needs and event-driven efforts. Work sometimes takes place in traffic areas and often under time pressure. On-call duty is included in the position during the winter season.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with at least a high school education in construction and civil engineering, or other relevant education or experience deemed equivalent by the employer.

You have practical experience in operational and maintenance work within land and/or construction work and knowledge to read and interpret drawings. The work is mobile and varied, which requires good physical fitness, flexibility, and good teamwork skills. At the same time, it is required that you can plan your work in consultation with others and act independently when needed, driven by your own initiative. Therefore, to thrive in this role, you need to be flexible and solution-oriented.

The work involves many external and internal contacts, so it is of great importance that you are outgoing and have good communication skills. Therefore, it is important that you can make yourself understood in Swedish, both spoken and written.

Parts of our operational systems require that you have good digital skills. We place great emphasis on personal qualities.
