Do you want to lead a highly specialized team and take decisive responsibility for ensuring that the performances at GöteborgsOperan run safely, precisely, and without technical compromises? We are looking for an operations manager with an engineering background who wants to develop, coordinate, and future-proof one of the most advanced stage and automation environments in the Nordic region.
About the position
This position is a direct recruitment, meaning that the recruitment process is handled by Bravura, but you will be employed directly by GöteborgsOperan.
About the company
GöteborgsOperan is one of the most dynamic cultural institutions in the Nordic region, offering a wide range of opera, musicals, and dance. The stage is technically advanced and accommodates everything from large rotating stages and mobile platforms to complex automation, electrical, and control systems. Each year, around 30–40 projects are produced, often in parallel, which places high demands on planning, flexibility, and technical precision.
Here, artistic creativity meets engineering. Automated trolleys, flying systems, advanced lifts, special effects, and safety-critical control systems are natural parts of the technical environment.
