JOB DUTIES

As an environmental inspector with us, you will be part of a small team. The role we offer is broad, and you will have the opportunity to work both independently and together with others to achieve common goals. We believe that you will mainly work with food, health protection, and/or shoreline protection. However, depending on your skills and experience, the tasks may include other areas of the environmental office's work. The administration is small, and a position with us is often quite broad, with personal responsibility for specific areas.

As an inspector at the environmental office, you play an important role in social development with a focus on regulatory enforcement. You plan your work independently and carry out inspections, handle cases, and conduct investigations. The breadth of supervision gives you opportunities for variation and development. We want to utilize your experiences, knowledge, and abilities in the best way possible. You strive for supervision characterized by high service, good quality, and a positive attitude.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with relevant higher education and/or experience that we deem equivalent. Knowledge of legislation is a requirement. We hope that you have experience in municipal operations and the inspector profession.

Regulatory enforcement, advice, information to the public, and internal service require, in addition to expertise, that you have good collaboration skills and are service-oriented. You are proactive and good at independently organizing and prioritizing your work. Personal suitability is of great importance.

You have a good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both spoken and written, as you will meet citizens and business operators and participate in meetings. You also master English. A B driver's license is a requirement. You have good computer skills, and it is desirable that you have worked in the case management system Ecos2 and have a commitment to business development and digitization.
