Job Description

As a stationary guard, you are customer-oriented and their face to the public. You often work at an entrance and are there for visitors, welcoming everyone with a professional demeanor, where service and safety are the focus. Here you deliver security by being attentive and ensuring that everything is in order. The position suits you if you want a social role where you come into contact with many people.

We are a business that operates every day of the year. The length of shifts may vary, but we usually work 12-hour shifts, day or night, with working hours from 06:00 to 18:00 or 18:00 to 06:00. Days can be intense with a high pace, a lot of customer contact, while night shifts are a bit quieter. Often, it includes patrolling the premises to look for deviations and deficiencies in the client's perimeter security and safety. The most important thing during the nights is that we are attentive and vigilant when the premises are empty. During each shift, guards and security personnel work together to ensure the safety of the premises both day and night.

If you are not a trained guard, we will train you! The basic training lasts for 9 working days and is conducted in various locations in Sweden before employment begins. As a new employee, you start with an introductory period to get into the work, feel secure, and manage our systems.

Requirements

We prefer that you have experience from the service industry and want to continue delivering high-quality service with a security focus.

Requirements:

• Approved grades in Swedish and English from the first year of high school
• Driver's license B

Meritorious:

• Experience in similar tasks or within the service industry, e.g., reception, retail.
• Have a civilian or military security guard training

For employment within Securitas Sweden AB, it is required that you have approved grades from high school in Swedish and English and are approved by the County Administrative Board for employment in an authorized security company according to the Act (1974:191) on security companies (the application is made by Securitas). Depending on the position, a security clearance according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may also be relevant. To investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements to be approved under each regulation, a background check will be conducted. The assessment concerns legal compliance, suitability, reliability, loyalty, and any vulnerabilities. Information obtained may, for example, come from yourself, open sources, or authorities. We apply a comprehensive assessment when evaluating suitability for each position.

Salary and employment conditions are based on the collective agreement between the employer organization Security Companies and the Swedish Transport Workers' Union.
