As this position is a summer temporary job, we wish for you to be available for work between weeks 23-33. If you are not already trained as a security guard, training will also take place in the spring - approximately 2 weeks. You need to be available during these weeks and 100% present during training. Securitas will assign you a schedule so you can plan your summer with both work and enjoyable activities in good time! Whether you want to work day or night, in a fast-paced or calm environment, Securitas has the job for you.

As a security guard, your primary task is to deliver safety to our customers. You do this, for example, in a monitoring center or at an access control point. As a security guard, you have greater authority than a regular guard and often work closely with our customers' staff with objects that are crucial to Sweden's security. The work is independent and often perceived as free, but with a great responsibility.

The tasks are highly varied, and as a security guard, you can work both indoors and outdoors, at night or during the day. The length of work shifts varies, but they are often scheduled in 12-hour shifts. Since we are a business that operates every day of the year, it is common to work every other weekend.

You will, for example:

• Handle matters within your assignment area
• Ensure that no unauthorized persons have access to the objects
• Staff stationary objects as needed

Requirements

To be considered for the role, you need to have passing grades in Swedish and English from the first year of high school. You must also hold a B driver's license, be a Swedish citizen, and be able to pass a security screening.

Specifically requested requirements:

It is an advantage if you have previously worked with similar tasks. Civil or military security guard training as well as guard training are also seen as benefits.

We believe that you are service-oriented, calm, and structured, and that you can handle periods of high tempo. You are technically interested, have an easy time understanding instructions, and work independently but collaborate well when needed. You are systematic, meticulous, and have an eye for detail. Personal suitability will weigh heavily, and we are looking for someone who is honest, helpful, and vigilant – a person who creates safety for others.
