Paramedic Needed

We are looking for paramedics for all our stations. As a paramedic, you work alongside a specialist nurse to provide the best possible care and support in the patient’s home, at an accident or injury site, and during transport. At an accident site, you often collaborate with the police, rescue services, and emergency physicians.

With good local knowledge of Stockholm County, you drive the vehicle during emergency response. You have the delegation to provide oxygen treatment and are responsible for the technical equipment in the ambulance.

Qualifications

• Certified nursing assistant with additional training in ambulance care or equivalent experience.
• At least two (2) years of experience as a nursing assistant.
• Experience in emergency care is an advantage.

Other Requirements

• Driving license B and good driving experience in urban traffic. C/C1 driving license or qualification is an advantage.
• Good physical condition as heavy lifting often occurs.
• Proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.

About the Ambulance Care Administration

The Ambulance Care Administration is responsible for ambulance care in the Stockholm Region and performs both emergency assignments via 112 and specialized care assignments such as intensive care ambulances and psychiatric ambulances. We provide care where people are and during transport, in close collaboration with other healthcare actors. Through education, research, and continuous development, we contribute to safe and modern ambulance care throughout the county.
