About the Role and Your Responsibilities

The Cognitive Team works across departments to develop and improve dementia care in Lund Municipality.

We are now looking for an additional Certified Silvia Sister or specialist nursing assistant in dementia for the Cognitive Team.

You will work in a cross-departmental team consisting of two dementia nurses and three Silvia Sisters/Specialist nursing assistants in dementia. Your tasks will include training, supervision, and advice to staff in units where there are individuals with dementia. Other responsibilities include support for relatives and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. We are also constantly working on improvement and development efforts to enhance and advance dementia care in Lund Municipality.

We Are Looking for You

We are looking for a Certified Silvia Sister or specialist nursing assistant in dementia with at least 60 higher education credits in nursing (not vocational training). It is advantageous if you are a certified trainer in the BPSD registry and have work experience from LSS. You are a proactive person who is used to prioritizing and structuring your work. You can work both independently and collaboratively in a team. You need to be comfortable presenting and speaking in front of a larger group. You have a good demeanor and enjoy mentoring and training. You express yourself well in Swedish, both spoken and written, and have computer skills within the Office package. A driver's license for a passenger car is required.
