Job Advertisement: Psychologist in the Psychological Services MBHV

As a psychologist in the Psychological Services MBHV, you will work with preventive healthcare and health initiatives.

The target group is expectant parents and children aged 0-6 years and their parents. The focus is on children's mental health and development as well as parenting. You will meet children and parents in various health-promoting initiatives and perform child assessments at the primary care level. The work also includes method development and consultation with nurses in BHV and midwives in MHV.

The Psychological Services within MBHV is a regional unit within Child Health Care in Region Kalmar County.

About You

We are looking for someone with a degree in psychology who is interested in PTP in our organization. We value a strong interest in the target group/area. Knowledge in developmental psychology, the psychology of becoming a parent, health psychology, as well as experience with methods of support tailored to the target group is meritorious.

As a person, you are communicative, flexible, pedagogical, and have an easy time learning and working independently. You find it easy to collaborate both within and outside the workgroup.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

A valid driver's license (B) is required as travel is part of the job.

Your Future Workplace

You will be part of an engaged team of 7 psychologists. As a psychologist with us, your main workplace will be in Västervik, Oskarshamn, or Kalmar. Work in other locations may occur. The placement is intended to be Kalmar but can be discussed. The work environment is open and developmental, and there is good collaboration across the county. The tasks are varied, and you have the opportunity to contribute to the development of the work.
