Temporary Doctor Position in Adult Psychiatry in Kalmar

For spring and summer 2025, we are seeking temporary doctors for adult psychiatry in Kalmar.

We can offer a varied and stimulating job for those interested in psychiatry and psychiatric conditions. We provide a good working environment with a focus on learning. The work mainly involves outpatient work in our outpatient care and work in our emergency department, including on-call duties. Initially, there will be a short placement in our inpatient care to familiarize yourself with the operations.

The employment period is approximately 6 months starting in spring 2025. Start and end dates are negotiable.

About You

We are looking for you who are a licensed doctor or have a medical degree. We want you to have an interest in psychiatry. Previous experience in psychiatric care is an advantage.

The role requires good collaboration skills. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

We are a clinic with 37 care places and 230 employees, including 6 resident doctors and 15 specialist doctors. Here, there are three inpatient wards, two outpatient clinics, and four treatment units.

Within the administration, a total of 600 employees work with specialist psychiatric care for adults, children, and adolescents, forensic psychiatric care, and rehabilitation care.
