About You

We are looking for someone who is a specialist in general medicine or interested in a ST in general medicine. To fit the role, it is important that you have the ability to understand the patient's situation and at the same time be confident in your medical assessments as a specialist. You have a good understanding of how people absorb knowledge and can adapt your message to the recipient. You can make correct assessments and priorities so that your message is clear and understandable. Your patients should feel well cared for when they meet you.

We value a professional approach; you need to be able to remain calm and stable in stressful situations. As a person, you easily adapt to changing circumstances and find it easy to collaborate with others by being attentive and listening. You plan and organize your work in a structured manner and continuously maintain your specialist knowledge.

The position can preferably be full-time, but we are flexible in finding a solution that suits you. Working hours are scheduled Monday to Friday with on-call duties and work at the emergency reception.

Vimmerby Health Center is the largest health center in our region, with a wide variety of patients. We are about 70 employees working together to provide safe and high-quality care to our over 15,000 registered patients. We have several nurse-led clinics, a well-equipped lab that provides good opportunities for various types of analyses, and access to primary care psychologists and social workers. In close proximity to the health center, there is a radiology clinic, district rehabilitation, open psychiatric reception, and eye clinic.
