Physiotherapist to Surgical Center Umeå

The primary goal and task of Surgical Center Umeå is to provide highly specialized and high-quality care and research for patients within the northern healthcare region. The clinic is divided into sections for urology, breast, endocrine, vascular, colorectal, and upper gastrointestinal surgery, which are conducted in both outpatient and inpatient care. The care at Surgical Center is characterized by a holistic approach where many different professional categories are engaged and collaborate for the best results. In collaboration with Umeå University, we also conduct successful research with both clinical and preclinical focus.

We are now looking for a physiotherapist for a temporary position at Surgical Center! You will have independent responsibility as a physiotherapist within the clinic, working with our outpatient and inpatient units. The position is located within our paramedical unit where physiotherapists, occupational therapists, social workers, and dietitians are active.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a physiotherapist with us, you contribute to taking good care of others and helping people feel better.

From a holistic perspective of the patient's health and life situation, as well as individual conditions, the physiotherapist assesses what treatment is needed. The methods of work vary depending on the patient's individual problems and goals, but it is common to combine individually tailored exercise and pain rehabilitation with behavioral change.

QUALIFICATIONS

You who apply should be a licensed physiotherapist.
