The Mitt area is part of the southern Lapland primary care area, which is a model area in the transition to close care. With effective collaboration and a focus on the citizen, we drive important change initiatives within the region and together with the municipality. Clinical assessment at a distance and digital healthcare meetings are rapidly developing and are an important part of ensuring good, close, and accessible care in this area. Therefore, it is no coincidence that we are at the forefront in this field. The medical station model, which is an important starting point for close care, shapes both the approach and working methods in the daily operations.

Stenbergska HC, Lycksele, and Malå medical station are part of the same base unit and are located in southern Lapland, about 90 kilometers apart. The nearest hospital is Lycksele, where the county's ambulance helicopter is stationed.

The medical station functions as a health center with an additional assignment for emergency care. Our telemedicine usage is well developed. Here you will find occupational therapists, midwives, physiotherapists, social workers, doctors, psychologists, secretaries, nurses, and nursing assistants. We provide emergency care as well as regular work at the health center and have a well-developed collaboration between all our professional groups and with the municipalities.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nurse with us, you contribute to taking good care of others and helping people feel better. You work professionally with a constant focus on the patient. As a nurse, you must address the patients' medical and specific care needs and then plan and prioritize the actions to be taken.

The role of the nurse also requires your ability to lead and motivate other care staff to create a good working environment together and provide quality care. The work demands independence and problem-solving skills, as well as making ongoing decisions in the right order.

QUALIFICATIONS

You must have a nursing license.
