Property Manager for the Royal Djurgården Administration
The Royal Djurgården Administration's main task is to manage the King's private right of disposition over Djurgården. Royal Djurgården is one of Stockholm's green lungs, a National City Park, and an important part of the nation's cultural heritage. The task includes protecting the historical cultural landscape, maintaining many cultural historical buildings, caring for the existing nature, and adapting the area to people's desire for a stimulating leisure and recreation environment. You will belong to the construction department responsible for the organization's buildings on Royal Djurgården and the Fjäderholmarna.
You will be based at our operations station at Stora Skuggan and/or from our operations station at Rosendal stable. A large part of the working time will be spent on Fjäderholmarna. To travel from our offices to Fjäderholmarna, you will use the car and boat provided by the Royal Djurgården Administration.
We are now looking for property managers for the 2026 season. The seasonal period extends from April to November.
Job Responsibilities
The property manager is responsible for the daily operations of our buildings and handling reports of issues from our tenants within the Royal Djurgården Administration. You will perform all tasks related to property management and maintenance. The tasks will be very varied and require a high degree of independence in planning your workday.
Qualifications
- You are at least 18 years old
- Good ability to express yourself well in speech and writing.
- Language skills: Swedish and English
- Educated in property management/current education or documented experience
- Driver's license with category B
- Strong interest in building maintenance, outdoor environments, the archipelago, and sustainability issues related to the work.
- Ship officer class VIII is an advantage
Personal Qualities
As a person, you have a strong service and responsibility mindset. You are flexible, willing to take initiative, and have good collaboration skills. It is also important that you are in good physical shape as the work can be physically demanding.
Other Employment Information
- The duration of employment will be determined by agreement. Please indicate in the selection questions which period you can work during the seasonal period from April 1 to November 30.
- Working hours during the day according to schedule.
- At the start of employment, a mandatory introductory session will be conducted.
- Any leave needs during the season must be presented at the time of application. Vacation is granted restrictively.
- Salary according to applicable agreement.
- The trade unions are represented by Saco-S, Seko, and OFR/S.
