Automation Technician at Lovö Waterworks

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As an automation technician at Lovö Waterworks, you will be part of a team that shares responsibility for preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance with a requirement for high technical availability and operational reliability. You will be part of a maintenance group with electricians, automation technicians, and mechanics, and work closely with our planning engineer regarding preventive and corrective maintenance. After thorough training, the position will also include being part of a standby team.
The position is a permanent employment with a six-month probation period based at Lovö Waterworks.
Job Tasks and Challenges
- Preventive and corrective maintenance on automation systems, instruments, and on the waterworks' process facilities.
- Program, commission, and test automation systems as well as control and regulation equipment in the process.
- Read, create, and modify CAD drawings.
- Independently and as part of a team plan and execute tasks using the maintenance system and report within it.
- Participate as an expert in investment projects and in the development work of Stockholm's future water supply.
QUALIFICATIONS

You plan your work in a structured way and are results-oriented. Since the role involves many contact points, you need to enjoy collaboration and be able to find ways forward together with other functions and professional roles. Furthermore, you have a service-oriented approach, are helpful when colleagues need support, and always work with the organization's best interests in focus.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Technical education at least at the high school level, with a focus on electrical/automation/instrumentation/control & regulation.
- Documented experience from the process industry or equivalent in both electrical/installation and automation areas is an advantage.
- Experience with electrical work up to 50A.
- Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
In your position, you will work with classified information. Security clearance and background checks will therefore be conducted in connection with employment.
