Your role and responsibilities

Project execution is at the heart of our organization, fulfilling and exceeding customer expectations while helping to build a sustainable and profitable future.

LV Systems, a business unit within ABB's Electrification division, sells and services low-voltage switchgear and control equipment, as well as providing aftermarket products for the Swedish market. The equipment is manufactured and delivered from ABB workshops in Europe, depending on product type and scope. The unit's customers are primarily in the pulp and paper, mining, power generation and transmission, chemical, and infrastructure and construction industries in Sweden.

You will drive our electrical installation projects involving low-voltage switchgear and control equipment and be responsible for aftermarket deliveries, either individually or in packages within LV Systems in Sweden.

You will maintain and enhance customer satisfaction by providing the best possible service throughout all phases of our deliveries.

• You will work on multiple projects simultaneously, where size and complexity vary. As a project manager, you are responsible for orders and have overall responsibility for leading the projects from planning to execution and closure.
• You lead the execution of projects/deliveries and ensure that all activities comply with company procedures, contract specifications, quality standards, occupational health and safety requirements, as well as cost/profitability and time targets.
• You define and establish documents covering technical clearance, finance, timelines, and risk management.
• You monitor project progress, resource utilization, and finances, as well as control billing status, costs, expenses, and cash flow.
• You identify, qualify, quantify, and manage risks while ensuring that opportunities are identified and utilized.
• You are responsible for project closure, including formal approvals and customer satisfaction, ensuring that customer requirements and expectations are met.
• You are responsible for purchasing services, materials, and equipment from both external and internal suppliers, while building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders.
• You ensure that projects are executed according to occupational health and safety policies and company guidelines, while promoting ABB's values regarding safety and integrity.

Qualifications for the role

• You have relevant higher education with an academic degree in electrical power, electrical engineering, or equivalent.
• You have experience in electrical power and are accustomed to customer contact in connection with deliveries, with a merit for good knowledge in electrical contracting.
• You have documented experience in project management as well as administering project scope, costs, timelines, suppliers, and contractors regarding technical projects.
• You have good knowledge of SAP and MS Office.
• As a person, you are collaborative and solution-oriented, with a pronounced ability to communicate.
• To fit in the role, it is important that you are a trustworthy team player who enjoys working together with others, both internally in projects and with our customers and suppliers.
• You are proficient in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
