Welcome to Simrishamn Municipality and the Central Home Care Service
– a workplace where we truly care, both for our clients and for each other. With us, the meeting with the individual is always at the center, and we base our work on each person's needs, wishes, and life situation. We strive to work with trust at all levels of the organization and to create a meaningful and sustainable work life. Here, you will be part of something big, but never just a number.
Our operations are located near the hospital area in central Simrishamn, from where five home care groups operate. Together, we are a dedicated and caring team that works every day to create safety, warmth, and a meaningful everyday life for our clients and their relatives. We collaborate closely with nurses, rehabilitation staff, and care administrators – for us, collaboration is a natural part of our daily work.
We care about your well-being at work. Therefore, we actively work to create a good work environment where dialogue, respect, and support characterize the workday. With us, there is close contact between managers and employees, and we believe in trust, participation, and a sustainable work life. Here, you will be an important part of the whole – and at the same time seen as the person you are.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a nursing assistant in the central home care service, you will have a varied and meaningful job. You will be the primary care contact for clients and perform both care services as well as rehabilitative and health care tasks delegated by licensed personnel.
We plan and structure our work with the support of our digital planning tool LifeCare and continuously document in the operational system LifeCare. The systems help you gain an overview and create safety for both you and the client.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant and enjoys working closely with people. You take responsibility, are flexible, and feel comfortable working independently while also appreciating being part of a team. Previous experience in home care or special housing is an advantage.
As documentation is a natural part of the job, you need to have basic IT skills and be able to express yourself well in both speech and writing. It is a plus if you have worked in LifeCare mobile care or another digital planning system, but it is not a requirement.
As a person, you are attentive, stable, and have a warm approach towards clients, colleagues, and supervisors. You enjoy collaborating, are open to new working methods, and contribute to a positive atmosphere in the workplace. We place great importance on your personal qualities.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
With us, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference. Every day. You will be part of an organization where your commitment counts and where we together create safety and quality in people's everyday lives.
