About the Position

We are looking for a Project Environmental Coordinator for a leading product company in the defense industry. The company's mission is to protect people and communities, thereby contributing to societal safety.

As a Project Environmental Coordinator, you will work with environmental and chemical issues related to their products. You will plan, coordinate, and ensure that projects meet environmental goals and legal requirements. The role involves interpreting and applying legislation, creating environmental and chemical documentation, and managing chemical issues in collaboration with internal departments. You will actively work to replace materials and products with more environmentally friendly alternatives and be responsible for reporting hazardous substances to authorities.

• Academic/university degree in materials/mechanical engineering and chemistry with an environmental focus or equivalent work experience.
• Good knowledge of environmental and chemical legislation, particularly REACH and CLP.
• Skilled communicator with the ability to communicate in both Swedish and English, orally and in writing.

Travel both within and outside Sweden may occur. The position is located in Karlskoga.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable security protection regulations, and the position requires Swedish citizenship.

Salary: Fixed monthly salary

Scope: Full-time, permanent

Start: Immediately, considering your potential notice period
