Attendo Pukslagarvägen is located in Södra Bomhus in Gävle, and is a nature-oriented nursing home for people over 65 years old. The facility has 54 permanent places focusing on dementia and somatic care. Attendo Pukslagarvägen is a lifestyle residence, where we work according to the concept of outdoor activities and gardening.

Our organization consists of a manager available Monday to Friday, a daytime coordinator working with staffing, nurses and rehab, maintenance staff, and nursing assistants/caregivers working day/evening/night shifts.

Job Description

You are passionate about involving the elderly, want to offer daily activities, and have a calm and inviting demeanor. You enjoy providing good service, creating meaningful relationships, and want to enhance the quality of life for our clients. You are an independent, humble, and responsible person who is dedicated to elderly care and can recognize individual needs.

You should be able to handle digital tools that are part of daily planning, medication management, and documentation. We are looking for someone with nursing assistant training or experience in caregiving. Previous experience in elderly care is an advantage. Great emphasis is placed on interaction, communication, case management, and documentation in the journal system.

• Good knowledge of the Swedish language (spoken and written)

• Good computer skills/computer literacy

• Previous experience in elderly care is an advantage

You are also a good colleague, reliable and flexible, and good at managing your time.
