The Psychiatric Outpatient Clinic in Bollnäs is a general psychiatric clinic for residents over 18 years old. We work in teams with various professional categories. We have about 35 employees at the clinic. The psychiatric clinic is responsible for conducting interventions in open psychiatric care that promote health and increase quality of life. Treatment methods should be evidence-based, and the offerings should be diverse. You will work as a senior physician in a general psychiatric team consisting of several professions.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

At the outpatient clinic, both specialist psychiatric assessments and treatment of specialist psychiatric diagnoses are conducted. As a specialist physician, you will perform the usual tasks of a psychiatrist at an outpatient clinic, such as assessments and follow-ups, annual visits, medication initiation/discontinuation, consultation with nurses in special housing, care certificate assessments, and other teamwork. Collaboration/joint rounds with our inpatient departments in Hudiksvall and on-call work are also included. Home visits may occur.

We expect good adherence to the Region's care programs and participation in any improvement efforts and development of the operations. You will be stationed in Bollnäs, part of an operational area covering all of Hälsingland with three outpatient clinics and one care department. Some on-call work is included.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who maintains a high professional level in their practice and is a self-sufficient specialist. With the patient in focus, you have a good ability to meet patients and their relatives based on their individual needs. With your experience to rely on, you are secure in your professional role and have a positive attitude that contributes to a good work environment. You have a good ability to interact with colleagues in different specialties and other staff. You also have a good ability for development and change work, and you are willing to work with your colleagues to find opportunities to develop the operations. You also enjoy teaching and mentoring and are secure in your role as on-call in our inpatient departments.

In the role of specialist physician, you should have:

• Swedish medical license and be a specialist in psychiatry
• good knowledge of the Swedish language, both written and spoken, Swedish C1 as a minimum requirement
• good knowledge of digital work
• clinical experience.

For this position, it is advantageous if you have experience in psychiatric outpatient care.
