BAE Systems Bofors is now looking to strengthen its assembly department with several new employees. The work is scheduled during the day.

Job Responsibilities

- The position involves group assembly and/or final assembly of our systems and subsystems where you handle the assembly of mechanics, hydraulics, and electronic components.

- Support during final inspection and service before delivery is also a natural part of the job.

- The work involves internal contacts and collaboration with the support functions of the product areas within production as well as the designers from the development department.

Qualifications

- The job requires high proficiency in reading technical drawings and the ability to understand complex instructions. Previous documented experience in any of the areas of mechanics or hydraulics is desirable.

- We are primarily looking for individuals with experience in mechanical work in some form, e.g., automotive mechanics, repair technicians, assemblers, or similar.

- We prefer candidates with experience in working with LEAN, and it is important that you are practical, have good collaborative skills, and a technical interest. Good knowledge of Swedish is a requirement, and we also appreciate knowledge of our corporate language, English. You should have generally good computer skills and knowledge of the Office suite.

The position involves work that may be subject to defense secrecy, which is why we require Swedish citizenship and a security clearance approved by the authorities.
