Your mission
Together with the team, as an assembler, you have a significant responsibility to deliver drill rigs, rotation units, and spare parts according to the production plan. In our production, complete units are assembled in a paced line.
As a drill rig assembler, you will perform several exciting tasks without heavy lifting, including:
- Preparation of manufacturing orders – in the preparation, product carriers and material carts are prepared according to the upcoming sequence for the assembly line.
- Assembly of drill rigs/rotation units – assembly takes place in a paced line consisting of five stations.
- Assembly of spare parts – this is an individual assembly where the assembler works from drawings.
- Functional testing of complete units that takes place in production testing.
- Work with continuous improvements.
In this role, the demands for collaboration, flexibility, efficiency, and a sense of responsibility are high. You will be responsible for the quality and delivery reliability of everything you and the team deliver, and you will work closely with operators, designers, and production engineers. The drill rig operations are strongly permeated by Epiroc's values – a concrete example of how we have chosen to work with values is that we include this in our daily Pulse Meetings. We pulse our actions in line with the values! Working hours are during the day.

Your profile
We are looking for someone who is an experienced assembler and has several years of experience in mechanical work. Knowledge of Lean production and hydraulics is considered an advantage. As a person, you are positive, service-oriented, meticulous, and engaged. You are solution-oriented, open, responsive, collaborative, and enjoy working in a team. You like challenges in your work, enjoy actively working with improvements, and are customer-oriented. For this role, you need very good knowledge of Swedish and basic knowledge of English.
