Sten & Vägarbeten AB is one of Värmland's largest civil engineering companies with extensive experience in both smaller service assignments and larger total contracts. The company was founded in 1957 and is today a stable and well-respected company with around 50 employees.

Job responsibilities

As a Production Manager, you are responsible for leading, planning, and following up on production at the work site. You lead and distribute the work, have personnel responsibility, and ensure that the projects are carried out according to set goals regarding economy, quality, work environment, and safety.
You will continuously work with customer contacts, participate in purchasing, and calculate smaller bids. The role entails full financial responsibility for your projects, including follow-up, forecasting, and reporting.
You will promote sustainable and efficient production with a focus on satisfied customers, good work environment, and long-term profitability.

We are looking for someone who

• Has several years of experience in civil engineering projects.
• Has experience leading others – leadership experience is highly meritorious.
• Has a good understanding of project economics and works with calculations and forecasting.
• Has basic knowledge of contract law.
• Has good computer skills.
• Is relationship-building, results-driven, and has a clear, present, and engaging leadership style.
• Works in a structured, organized manner and has good administrative skills.
