We at the water and waste department in Kristinehamn provide approximately 5500 households with water daily. We are now looking for a skilled plumber who is as passionate about clean water as we are! Come and be a part of our first-class team!

The position is located in the pipe network section, which currently consists of 11 employees and is part of the Technical Administration.

The Technical Administration consists of about 150 employees and includes the departments of water and waste, public environment, and service department. We are responsible for ensuring that the municipality's traffic environment is safe and accessible, as well as providing nutritious food for our children, youth, and elderly in municipal preschools, schools, and special accommodations. We also manage the municipality's properties and are responsible for strategic local planning. Additionally, we handle the collection of household waste and operate the municipality's waste facility.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a plumber in Kristinehamn municipality, you will have an interesting and varied job with regular working hours. We work with installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of pipe systems within water, sewage, and heating in the municipality's properties and facilities. Your tasks will include both planned work and urgent interventions, where you contribute to ensuring a safe and functioning technical infrastructure for the municipality's operations and residents. We also carry out remediation projects on our pipeline network.

You will perform troubleshooting, service, and urgent interventions, as well as participate in new installations and renovations. The work is done in close collaboration with colleagues and other professional groups, focusing on quality, safety, and good service.

A significant advantage of working in the municipality is that you avoid long business trips, and the working hours are mostly during the day, but on-call duty may be included in the position.

QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements:

• Construction technical education or other education/experience deemed equivalent.
• Driving license B
• Work experience in plumbing and construction work

Meritorious:

• Safety on the road
• Welding PE pipes
• Responsible for marking
• Driving license C
• Authorization for wheel loader
• Leak detection trained
• Certified plumber
