SkiStar Lodge & Hotels is our business area that includes our hotels and restaurants. Our hotels offer a wide range of restaurants, cafés, and bars. Some of our hotels also offer other activities such as bowling, adventure pool, indoor surfing, and spa and relaxation facilities. The hotels included in the SkiStar Lodge & Hotel business area are SkiStar Lodge Lindvallen, SkiStar Lodge Hundfjället, Högfjällshotellet, SkiStar Lodge Trysil, and Radisson Blu Trysil. We are now looking for chefs for our restaurants for the upcoming winter season. We have several restaurants with different menus and specialties, and are therefore looking for chefs with different areas of expertise.

As a chef, you will work at one of the stations in the kitchen alongside your colleagues. You will be responsible for preparing food according to guests' orders and preparing and cooking food from scratch.

  • Preparation
  • Prepare food according to orders
  • Keep the work area clean and organized
  • Preparation, and operations during major events and functions.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about cooking and enjoys working in the kitchen. You have positive energy, are enthusiastic about service, and have a strong sense of teamwork. The job is suitable for someone who is committed, service-oriented, able to work under pressure, and responsible. You thrive in a busy environment with working hours that vary from early mornings to late afternoons and evenings. Striving to exceed guests' expectations is a matter of course for you in your work.

Skills required

  • Education and/or work experience as a chef
  • Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and food safety
  • You are fluent in a Scandinavian language and/or English, both spoken and written

Type of employment & employment period

Seasonal employment during the period December–April.

Working hours

32–40 hours/week, varying working hours on weekdays and weekends.
