We are currently looking for two experienced moving truck drivers at 75-85% for our moving operations within Greater Stockholm, based out of our office in Ulvsunda/Bromma. In this position, there is an opportunity to develop into a team leader role.

Rent A Mover is a moving company with over 25 years of industry experience. We are currently in an expansive phase where we have ambitions, plans, and opportunities to grow. We work with both private and public clients and perform everything from larger household moves to smaller individual furniture, office relocations, piano transports, and other more advanced heavy transports, staffing with ID06, and moving cleaning. We deliver our services directly to customers and indirectly as subcontractors.

Job Responsibilities and Expectations

As a Driver at Rent A Mover, you play a key role where, in addition to working in a team as a Mover (mover), you are the one who drives and is responsible for the vehicle to and from the customer. Additional tasks include, besides the obvious of driving to the right place in a safe and responsible manner, ensuring that the vehicle is in good condition and that everything is in its place after the assignment is completed. The driver's responsibilities also include, in consultation with the team leader, ensuring that the vehicle is fueled, cleaned, and safety-checked before each drive, as well as being responsible for loading the customer's belongings. Therefore, it is essential to have a driver's license. It is also highly meritorious if you have local knowledge of Greater Stockholm and have previously worked with similar tasks.

As a team leader, you are also the one who, together with back office and the CEO, is responsible for daily operations and workflow. You engage in dialogue with customers on-site and adapt the operations to meet the customer's needs and the company's capabilities in a very pleasant manner. You ensure that our movers perform their work in the best possible way and are responsible for training new employees on how the work is done safely and securely for both the customer and staff. Therefore, it is very important that you have an interest in delivering good service, possess good communication skills, and master Swedish in both spoken and written form, as well as having experience in the moving industry.

We do not compromise on quality and expect all our Movers and Drivers to be meticulous, take responsibility, understand customer privacy, and show flexibility.
