Operations Manager for Hazardous Waste

PreZero is part of the circular transition and works every day for a more sustainable future. We are now looking for an Operations Manager for our hazardous waste operations in Knivsta. In this role, you will have overall responsibility for daily operations and become a key person in the work of safe, efficient, and correct handling of hazardous waste.

About the Position

As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the department's daily operations. You will lead and distribute work for both in-house staff and hired subcontractors, ensuring that transports, order flows, and customer assignments are carried out safely and in a structured manner. The job involves close contact with drivers, customers, consulting companies, and other stakeholders. The role is largely administrative and system-based, with responsibility for order follow-up, deviation management, system updates, and customer-related issues. You will work in several different business and support systems, both PreZero's own and those of the customers (e.g., EDP). You will also be responsible for personnel-related issues such as scheduling, follow-up, and employee conversations. Experience with hazardous waste is an advantage, but training will be provided on-site.

Your Main Responsibilities

• Responsibility for the department's daily operations
• Develop, plan, lead, and follow up daily routines
• Ensure efficient resource use of personnel and equipment
• Transport management, including hired subcontractors
• Order follow-up and planning
• Handling of complaints and deviations
• System updates in business and support systems
• Customer contact and handling of customer-related issues
• Collaboration with drivers, consultants, customers, and authorities
• Ensure safe and correct handling of hazardous waste

• Experience in leadership

• At least a high school education
