About Us

We at the Vehicle Group, which belongs to the municipality's office for community building, manage all of the municipality's vehicles and operate the municipality's internal car pool.

We are proud of our employees who make a positive difference in the municipality's operations every day and contribute to developing the city's sustainability and vitality. We are a positive and action-oriented team driven by delivering first-class service to our colleagues in the municipality.

Today, the group consists of two technicians, a team leader, and a unit manager. Now that one of our technicians is about to retire, we are looking for a replacement for the position.

About the Position

In the role of technician, you will:

• Be responsible for the general maintenance of all municipal vehicles.
• Perform basic safety checks on vehicles according to current routines and report any damages.
• Ensure that vehicles are washed and cleaned according to a weekly schedule.
• Drive vehicles to/from the workshop for service, inspection, and repairs.
• Check and ensure that car pool vehicles are refueled/charged and ready for rental.

Are You the One We Are Looking For?

We are looking for someone who has:

• A valid driver's license (B).
• Good computer skills.
• Good knowledge of the Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).

It is an advantage if you have:

• Experience in vehicle care/mechanics.
• C1 / C driver's license.
• Training in Work Zone Safety.
• Experience with Microsoft Teams.

As a person, you are structured with a systematic approach to your work, ensuring you have a good overview and do not miss important details. You are relationship-oriented, aware of how you interact with others, how you act in different situations, and your areas for development, strengths, and resources.

You have the ability to take responsibility for your own behavior and act based on how it affects your surroundings. You are also solution-oriented, which for us means that you do not see problems as problems, but as a resource to find solutions. The focus becomes positive, and discussions can center around solutions rather than problem causes.
